Indian extremists active against Indian cricket team player Muhammad Shami
Religious
hatred and unilateral actions against Muslims are common in India. India is a
country that falsely propagates itself as a great country in the world where no
minority including Muslims and Sikhs is safe. Ever since the Modi government
came to power, minorities, especially Muslims, have been harassed by Indian
extremists for their own comfort. Hatred against Muslims is not limited to
certain people but Muslims of all schools of thought including Indian Muslim
politicians, showbiz stars, journalism, judiciary face this Indian prejudice.
The match
between Pakistan and India was played in the ICC T20 World Cup played in Dubai
yesterday in which Pakistan performed well and inflicted the worst defeat on
the Indian cricket team. The Indian people and especially the Hindu extremists
could not accept this defeat and started spewing poison against their own team
player Muhammad Shami and started beating him with various tactics and
propaganda against him under an organized campaign. Following the historic defeat
of the Indian team to Pakistan during the World Twenty20 Cricket Cup, extremist
Hindus in India have launched an online campaign on social media against
Muhammad Shami, the only Muslim player in the team.
Indian
extremists have promoted it so much that Muhammad Shami has been called an
agent of Pakistan and is being advised to shift to Pakistan. Someone is calling
him a Pakistani ambassador, meaning you can say as many words as you like. The
question is, if there was a Hindu bowler in place of Mohammad Shami, would he
have faced the same criticism? Was he also harassed on the basis of religion?
It is noteworthy that this series is not limited to Muhammad Shami but there
have also been reports of violence against all Muslims living in India.
Anti-Muslim
riots have increased in India in recent years. There were about 840 incidents
of religious hatred against Dalits in 2016 while there were 254 incidents of
violence from January 1 to October 29, 2018. 91 Muslims have been killed and
579 injured in these incidents.
Last year,
49 prominent film directors and artists, including five women, wrote a letter
to Narendra Modi on anti-Muslim extremism and religious hatred, alleging
anti-Muslim measures and harassment and torture of Muslims by Hindu extremists.
Concern was expressed. These artists and directors include Ador Gopal Krishnan,
Mani Ratnam, Anurag Kashyap, Aparna Sen, Kokana Sen Sharma and Somta
Chatterjee. At the beginning of the letter, J. Shri Ram wrote that in the past
these words were used to send a message of welcome to each other but today they
have turned into war slogans.
In India,
Muslims remained insecure even during the corona virus because Muslims were not
even given wards during the corona virus, which caused many Muslims to lose their
lives. A patient at the hospital said that the names of 28 male patients
admitted in the first ward (A4) of the hospital were called and then they were
transferred to the second ward (C4). We were not told why we were being shifted
to another ward when all those named were from the Muslim community. "We
spoke to a member of the ward staff who said it was done to the satisfaction of
both communities," he said.
It is
gratifying that after the criticism of Mohammad Shami, many players have come
out in support of him, while many politicians and social leaders have also
tweeted in support of Mohammad Shami and advised him not to be discouraged by
the online criticism. ۔ Irfan Pathan, Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir,
Harbhajan Singh, Rahul Gandhi and Omar Abdullah have assured Muhammad Shami of
their full support and said it was shameful to criticize a player on the basis
of his religion. Every player sheds blood and sweat for his country. If a match
is bad, it is wrong to target it. The Syrians have won many matches, which is
why they have been included in such an important event as the World Cup, so
such nonsense needs to be eliminated.

کے خلاف نفرت صرف مخصوص لوگوں تک محدود نہیں بلکہ انڈیا کے مسلمان سیاستدان، شوبز
سے تعلق رکھنے والے ستارے، صحافت ، عدلیہ سمیت ہر مکتبہ ہائے فکر کے مسلمانوں کو
اس بھارتی تعصب کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے۔
گزشتہ روز دبئی میں کھیلے جانے والے آئی سی سی T20 ورلڈ کپ میں پاکستان اور بھارت کا
میچ کھیلا گیا جس میں پاکستان نے عمدہ کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے انڈین کرکٹ ٹیم کو بدترین
شکست سے دوچار کیا۔ بھارتی عوام اور خصوصاً ہندو انتہاپسند اس شکست کو تسلیم نہ کر
سکے اور اپنی ہی ٹیم کے کھلاڑی محمد شامی کے خلاف زہر اگلنا شروع کردیا اور انہیں
مختلف حربوں سے زدوکوب کرنے اور ان کے
خلاف منظم کمپین کے تحت پروپیگنڈہ شروع کررکھا ہے۔ ورلڈ ٹی ٹونٹی کرکٹ کپ کے دوران
بھارتی ٹیم کی پاکستان سے تاریخی شکست کے بعد
انڈیا میں انتہاپسند ہندؤں نے ٹیم میں شامل واحد مسلمان کھلاڑی محمد شامی
کے خلاف سوشل میڈیا پر آن لائن مہم شروع کی ہوئی ہے۔
بھارتی انتہاپسندوں نے اس بات کو اتنا بڑھاوا دیا کہ محمد
شامی کو پاکستان کا ایجنٹ کہا جانے لگ گیا ہے اور انہیں مشورہ دیا جا رہا ہے کہ وہ
پاکستان میں شفٹ ہو جائیں۔ کوئی انہیں
پاکستانی سفیر قرار دے رہا ہے یعنی آپ کہہ سکتے ہیں کہ جتنے منہ اتنی
باتیں۔ غور طلب بات یہ ہے کہ کیا محمد شامی کی جگہ اگر کوئی ہندو باؤلر ہوتا تو کیا اس کو بھی ایسی ہی تنقید کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا؟ کیا اسے بھی مذہب کی
بناء پر حراساں کیا جاتا؟ قابل ذکر بات یہ ہے کہ یہ سلسلہ صرف محمد شامی تک ہی
محدود نہیں بلکہ بھارت میں رہنے والے تمام
مسلمانوں کے خلاف تشدد کی رپورٹس بھی سامنے آئی ہیں۔
بھارت میں حالیہ برسوں کے دوران مسلم کش فسادات میں اضافہ
ہوا ہے۔ دلتوں کے خلاف سال 2016ء میں مذہبی منافرت کے تقریباً 840 واقعات ہوئے
جبکہ یکم جنوری سے 29 اکتوبر 2018 تک تشدد کے 254 واقعات ہوئے ہیں۔ ان واقعات میں
91 مسلمان جاں بحق اور 579 زخمی ہو چکے
ہیں۔
گزشتہ سال مسلمانوں
کے خلاف انتہاپسندی اور مذہبی منافرت کی بنیاد پر پانچ خواتین سمیت 49 ممتاز فلم
ڈائریکٹرز اور فنکاروں نے نریندر مودی کو ایک خط لکھا جس میں مسلمانوں کے خلاف
اقدامات اور ہندو انتہاپسندوں کی جانب سے مسلمانوں کو حراساں کرنے اور انہیں تشدد
کا نشانہ بنانے پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا
گیا۔ ان فنکاروں اور ڈائریکٹرز میں ادور گوپال کرشنن، منی رتنم، انوراگ کشپ، اپرنا
سین، کوکنا سین شرما اور سومتا چترجی شامل ہیں۔ خط کے آغاز میں جے شری رام لکھ کر
کہا گیا ہے کہ پہلے ایک دوسرے کو خیر مقدم کا پیغام دینے کا پیغام دینے کے لئے یہ الفاظ استعمال
ہوتے تھے لیکن آج یہ جنگی نعرے میں تبدیل ہو گئے ہیں۔
بھارت میں کورونا وائرس کے دوران بھی مسلمان غیر محفوظ ہی
رہے کیونکہ مسلمانوں کو کورووائرس کے دوران وارڈز تک نہیں دیئے جاتے تھے جس کی وجہ سے بہت سے مسلمان اپنی جان کی بازی
ہار گئے۔ ہسپتال میں موجود ایک مریض کا
کہنا تھا کہ ہسپتال کے پہلے وارڈ (اے فور )میں داخل 28 مرد مریضوں کے نام پکارے
گئے اور پھر انہیں دوسرے وارڈ (سی فور) میں منتقل کردیا گیا۔ ہمیں یہ نہیں بتایا
گیا کہ ہمیں دوسرے وارڈ میں کیوں شفٹ کیا جا رہا ہے جبکہ جن کے نام پکارے گئے ان
سب کا تعلق مسلمان برادری سے تھا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم نے وارڈ کے عملے کے ایک
رکن سے بات کی تو اس نے بتایا کہ ایسا دونوں برادریوں کی تسلی و اطمینان کے لئے
کیا گیا ہے۔
یہاں یہ امر خوش آئند ہے کہ محمد شامی پر تنقید کے بعد
متعدد کھلاڑی ان کی حمایت میں سامنے آئے ہیں جبکہ کئی سیاستدانوں اور سماجی
رہنماؤں نے بھی محمد شامی کی حمایت میں ٹوئٹس کرتے ہوئے انہیں آن لائن تنقید پر
دلبرداشتہ نہ ہونے کا مشورہ دیا ہے۔ عرفان پٹھان، سہواگ، سچن ٹنڈولکر، گوتم
گھمبیر،ہربھجن سنگھ، راہول گاندھی اور عمر عبداللہ نے محمد شامی کو اپنی مکمل
حمایت کا یقین دلایا ہے اور کہا ہے کہ کسی کھلاڑی کو اس کے مذہب کی بنیاد پر تنقید
کا نشانہ بنانا شرمناک ہے۔ ہر کھلاڑی اپنے ملک کیلئے خون پسینہ بہاتا ہے۔ اگر کوئی
ایک میچ خراب ہو تو اس پر اسے نشانہ بنانا غلط بات ہے۔ شامی نے کئی میچ جتوائے اسی
وجہ سے انہیں ورلڈ کپ جیسے اہم ایونٹ میں شامل کیا گیا لہٰذا ایسی بیہودگی کو ختم
کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔
