انتہائی عروج پر تھی اور امریکہ کو اپنی تیل کی ضروریات پوری کرنے کیلئے وافر
ذخائر کی ضرورت تھی۔ تیل کے ذخائر پر قبضہ جمانے کے لئے خلیجی ممالک کو نشانہ
بنایا گیا اور ان ممالک میں امریکہ، نیٹو اور دیگر اتحادی ممالک شامل ہیں۔ اب ممالک
پر حملوں کے نتیجے میں امریکہ اور دیگر اتحادی ممالک نے تیل کے وسیع ذخائر پر قبضہ
کیا اور اپنی تیل کی ضروریات بہت زیادہ حد تک پوری کیں۔ اب خلیجی ممالک میں تیل کے
کنوئوں پر امریکہ کی بالراست بالادستی قائم ہے۔

نہاد جنگ میں امریکہ اور ہر اتحادی ملک نے اربوں ڈالرز کی تجارتی کی جس میں سب سے
زیادہ سیاستدانوں اور کارپوریٹ گھرانے شامل ہیں۔ اس جنگ میں ترقی پذیر ممالک میں
خوف پیدا کیا گیا اور جن ممالک کے آپس میں اختلاف تھے ان کو بھڑکایا گیا جیسے
